With VroomVroomVroom, it is easy to add extras to your booking. Having a GPS can make it easier to find your way around if you're visiting cities like Sydney or Melbourne. If you're travelling with young children, it is a requirement in Australia that they have the proper child seat in the car. Here is some information about adding extras to your car rental booking.

Adding a child seat to your booking

There are a few things to consider before you add a child seat to your booking. The age of your child determines whether they will need a rear-facing, forward-facing or booster seat. Each car rental company charges a different amount to add a child seat, which is generally a per-day charge.

If you want to add a child seat to your booking, you can do so by contacting our Customer Care Team and advising the age of the child. If pick-up is more than 48-hours away, you can request a child seat when you make your booking.

Adding a GPS

Subject to availability, you can request a GPS for your rental car to help you find your way around Australia. The charge for adding a GPS device to your booking is different depending on which car rental company your booking is with. GPS devices usually cost around $10 - $16 per day.

If you've already made your booking . . .

If you've already booked your rental car, and you decide you would like to have a GPS when you arrive, you can still make the request. Just contact our Customer Care Team and they will confirm the request for you. You are able to reply to your confirmation email as well and advise if you would like to request any extras.
