How much does No Birds require for the security bond?

Both credit and debit card payments require a $500 security hold in addition to the estimated total cost of the vehicle. You won’t have access to these funds until the rental period is completed.

What is the minimum age to hire a car from No Birds in Australia?

No Birds’s minimum age requirement for drivers is 21.

What type of driving licence does No Birds accept?

Any valid driver’s licence printed in English meets No Birds's driving licence requirements. If your licence isn’t in English, you’ll need an International Driving Permit (IDP).

Does a No Birds hire car include insurance?

Yes. Basic cover is included in the rental quote, but if the vehicle is stolen, damaged, or a third-party loss occurs, you’ll have to pay up to the Rental Vehicle Excess amount listed in your No Birds rental agreement.

How much does roadside assistance cost for a No Birds vehicle?

No Birds offers free 24-hour roadside assistance for mechanical breakdowns, however if you require roadside assistance for a non-mechanical issue, like flat tyres, running out of petrol, or locking your keys in the car, a $75 call-out fee will apply.

How do I pay for road tolls with No Birds?

No Birds automatically charges the nominated card for any toll charges (plus a $1 admin fee per toll). An email will be sent with an invoice containing toll details.

Do I have to wash the vehicle before returning it to No Birds?

No Birds doesn’t require you to wash the hire car prior to drop-off, but it’s advised you return the vehicle in fair condition to avoid cleaning fees.

Do I need to refuel before returning the vehicle to No Birds?

Yes. Return the hire car with the same amount of fuel it had when you collected it to avoid extra charges.

How do I extend the booking period of my No Birds hire car?

If your rental period is yet to commence, you can modify your booking with the VroomVroomVroom app or contact our customer care team to make the required changes. Otherwise, if the rental period has commenced, you’ll need to contact the No Birds depot you collected from, bearing in mind that any changes may alter the total cost of your rental.
