You can pay your rental car with Budget using a credit or debit card. The accepted credit/ charge cards are as follows: American Express, Budget, Diners Club, Mastercard and Visa. Budget accepts a valid driving licence from the renter’s country. It must include a photo and be written in English. If the licence is not printed in English, the renter should also present a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) or full English translation from an approved translator. Yes. Basic cover is included in the rental quote. However, if the car is damaged, stolen or a third-party loss occurs during your journey, you must pay up to the Rental Vehicle Excess amount listed in your rental agreement with Budget.
You can pay the toll road charges using the RMS E-Toll Facility, which will be available by RMS to you when you rent a vehicle from Budget. The amounts payable include the toll charges and service fee. Read Budget's terms and conditions for more information.
Budget does not require you to clean the rental car upon returning it. However, you may be charged a cleaning fee if the vehicle is returned excessively dirty.
To avoid refuelling charges, you are required to return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel. If you are running late, Budget will refuel the vehicle on your return but you would need to pay a refuelling service charge. Another option is to add the Prepaid Fuel Service to your rental when you collect your car. This service prepays the cost of a full tank at the time of rental.
You can extend the booking period of your Budget rental by modifying your booking online or contacting our customer care team. This is applicable if you haven’t collected your vehicle yet. If the rental has commenced, you must contact the location from which the car has been rented. Any changes in your rental may result in a change in rate.
Yes. Budget applies the discount code that we can offer our customers into the rates that are displayed once you complete a search on our website. There’s no need to input any code to avail of discounts.
