Using a mobile phone with your hand while driving is illegal in Vanuatu. Your phone must be mounted in a dock or another hands-free manner.
Vanuatu has no blood alcohol limit for alcohol consumption when driving, but drivers under the influence can be stopped and fined by the police.
Driving practices in Vanuatu may differ from what you are used to in your home country. Pay attention to the road and always yield to vehicles larger than your own.
