Visit Warwick and discover that in November 29, 1917, Prime Minister William Morris Hughes was talking to a crowd gathered at the Warwick railway station and an unknown man from the crowd threw an egg that flipped down his hat. The Prime Minister ordered his arrest and apparently the Queensland State Police refused to arrest the man.

This incident that took place more than 90 years ago and was the first step in the formation of the Australian Commonwealth Police and the first commissioner was named a week and a day later.
