Best Cities to Celebrate Oktoberfest in Australia
What began with a royal wedding in Munich, Germany 206 years ago, Oktoberfest has fast become a much-anticipated global event and Australia has joined the biggest annual festival of beer and food.
Nokturnl Events, a private event company, launched Oktoberfest in the Gardens in the Supreme Court Gardens, Perth on October 7, 2011. The event was well received that it swiftly spread across the country. Greatly influenced by their strong fondness of the usual Bavarian festival, Oktoberfest in the Gardens highlights two mighty large top beer halls, which also features real German food stalls, along with sideshow alley, travelling performers, and a diverse blend of entertainment and contests across various stages from start to finish.
Now in its seventh year, Oktoberfest in the Gardens hits Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, thus securing its position as Australia's largest Oktoberfest party. Note that last year's events were sold out, so make sure to buy your ticket early.
