The below T&Cs (including prices and taxes) are provided by Europcar and may change without notice to VroomVroomVroom.com.au.

This quote includes:

Unlimited mileage
Collision Damage Waiver
Theft Waiver (THW)
Local tax for the car rental (extra's will attract local taxes and surcharges).
GST

This quote will not include:

Loss Damage Waiver. Your Damage Liability is reduced to the amount shown in the Rental Agreement but it does not include WWI. Please call our reservations team to determine the exact amount your liability will be reduced to
Child Seats (can be purchased after confirmation for MYR 15* per seat, per day).
GPS (MYR 20* per day/ subject to availability and can not be guaranteed).
Extra Driver can be added to the rental at an extra charge of MYR 100* per driver.
The young and senior driver surcharge of MYR 25* per day excluding tax.
Additional rental 'extras' selected at pickup.

* All extra add-ons will attract additional percentage taxes and surcharges.

Age Requirements

Minimum age requirement is 21 for the following car groups: MCAR, HDAR, CCAR, CDAR, CVAR, IDAR, IVAR, ICAR, DDAR, SDAR, SVAR, IFAR, SFAR, RFAR.

Minimum age requirement is 30 for the car group PWAR.

Young Driver Charge

21 to 23 year-old drivers will be charged MYR 25 per day (MYR 100 charge per rental) excluding tax

Senior Driver Charge

66 to 80 year-old drivers will be charged MYR 25 per day (MYR 100 charge per rental) excluding tax

Driving Licence

Held for at least two years for all cars group.

Note: It is not mandatory on international driving license to rent a car in Malaysia. However, the license must be in Western character or with notarised translation.

Additional driver

With the consent of the renter, the vehicle may be driven by another person but has to pay an additional driver charge of MYR 100 per driver (excluding tax).

Modifying Your Booking

Airport Pickup : Important

Accurate Flight Details and Flight arrival time are extremely important. Correct details are a requirement of suppliers to guarantee the reservation. Delays will occur if the incorrect details are added to the reservation - and some suppliers will not hold the reservation longer that 1 hour unless notified.

Hint: if you are delayed - visit the counter of the supplier at your departing airport.

Contact Number

A mobile, or landline is mandatory for confirmation. Europcar Staff will need this to contact you if your arrival is delayed. Incorrect information may jeopardise your reservation.

One-Way Rentals

A) Domestic : Available between Europcar stations. Charged to driver. Minimum 3 days rental.

B) International : not available.

Out of Hours Policy

Airport: MYR 75 will be charged to the driver

Downtown: MYR 75 will be charged to the driver

Railway: no charge

Other Charges and Information

Refuelling charge and policy

All cars are supplied with a full tank of fuel at time of pick-up. At the end of the rental the customer is required to return the car with a full tank of fuel, otherwise refueling charges for missing fuel will apply. Refueling charge MYR 50.00 amount plus MYR 3.00 amount per litre

Deposit Policy

Credit card deposit accepted. The amount from minimum MYR 1000.00 to a maximum MYR 1500.00 subject to vehicle group.

Grace Period

Europcar offers you 30 minutes grace period after 24 hours are up (whole day rental).

Condition of Vehicle

Vehicle must be returned, normal wear & tear expected, in the same condition as when rented. If special cleaning is required a separate charge will apply.
