Travelling has changed a lot through the years and one of the main factors was the introduction of the World Wide Web. Years ago, people look through books and magazines when searching for a place to visit. But now, most people go through social media to look for cool places to check out. The most popular form of social media for travellers and bloggers is Instagram because they can easily find and share areas that haven't been explored that much yet. Best spots to take photos in Sydney

The Rocks is located on the southern shore of Sydney Harbour and north-west of the CBD. Make sure to request staying in a high floor or you can also go to the rooftop to take cool snaps of the iconic bridge.

Taronga Zoo is nestled on the shores of the Sydney Harbour in Mosman. It houses more than 350 species of animals and enjoys great view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House.


Manly Beach is situated between a quiet harbour beach and a popular surf beach thus giving it that laid-back and fun attitude. It is advisable to bring along a drone with camera so you can take amazing aerial shots.

Bondi Icebergs is known worldwide for the historic Icebergs Pool located at the southern end of the famous Bondi Beach. Anyone who takes a look at the photo, would definitely want to jump in that tidal pool.

Bronte Beach is approximately two kilometres south of Bondi Beach and the clusters of underwater rocks formed a natural pool that is popular amongst families travelling with kids.


Maroubra Beach is situated on the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and is just approximately 24 minutes away on a car hire via M1. The place is known for its consistent waves thus making it a popular surfing spot in the city. Wait for the sunset to get stunning photos of the beach.

Observatory Hill Park is located on Upper Fort St and you can get there from Kent Street and Cumberland Street. This is the best place to get panoramic views of the Sydney Harbour and Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Chinese Garden of Friendship is the perfect place to practice your skill on nature photography. The secret garden can be found on the south end of Darling Harbour and just a few steps away from Chinatown.
