Have a walk through Mort Estate. Take off those seatbelts and have a leisure walk through Toowoomba's oldest subdivision. Mort Estate was established in 1862 and its intriguing history and architecture can be seen and admired through a self-guided walk in the precinct. The pleasant walk starts and finishes at Toowoomba's historic Railway Station. Follow the trail and you will see historic sites along Taylor Street, Boulton Terrace, Norwood Street and Mort Streets.

Russell Street will lead you to landmarks that depict excellent historic architecture which dates back to the 1860's. The trail starts at the Railway Station on Railway Street. It continues west to Kensington Street and then returns east to the fascinating shop fronts in the city centre.
Beyond Crows Nest Falls lookout, the Koonin lookout track curves away from Crows Nest Creek through an open forest. Here, you are rewarded by a spectacular view of a deep gorge locally known as the Valley of Diamonds.
“Koorin” is the Aboriginal word for hoop pine. And hoop pine can be found beside the creek which is 120 meters below the lookout. Now, you can enjoy the view, listen for the bell-like call of thee spotted pardalote from the valley below and absorb the beauty of nature's wonders.
