Sigatoka is an amazing place to visit year-round but May to June along with October are ideal months to visit thanks to perfect weather are fewer crowds. July to September are peak season in Nadi.
Sigatoka is about an hour and a half from Nadi Airport and three hours from Suva-Nausori Airport, meaning you can choose whichever one is more convenient for you.
While highways in Viti Levu are sealed and the main roads are paved, it is still a good idea to keep an eye out for potholes and bumps — especially in more rural areas.
Don’t miss Sigatoka’s famous sand dunes, but there’s also some beautiful waterfalls, a river safari, and an eco park worth checking out. Finish the day with a spa treatment!

On hiring a car in Sigatoka
Our data shows that Sigatoka, along with other isolated cities in Australia, book out of rental cars during peak seasons (i.e., school holidays and major city events) because of the limited amount of rental cars available by providers in the area.
