Vroom Vroom Vroom Pty Ltd (Vroom) is aware of a cyber incident affecting its rental vehicle excess insurance provider Prosura Pty Ltd (Prosura) involving unauthorised access to a portion of Prosura’s internal IT systems by an unknown third party.

Prosura is a separate entity to Vroom. However, we have taken the additional precaution of conducting an urgent review of our own systems and have not identified any impact to the integrity of our services, platforms or customer data.

We’re taking this incident extremely seriously and are working closely with Prosura to ensure that all appropriate action is taken in response to this incident.

We are aware that some Prosura customers have received fraudulent emails requesting they contact a third-party email address.

We ask that all customers please not respond to any email, telephone or text messages that seem suspicious. Please refer to the Incident Page on Prosura’s website where updates and relevant information will be provided as it becomes available.

Sincerely,
VroomVroomVroom
