Knowing how to use the proper keywords can save you time and money
There is a trick in finding a good car rental deal and that's what VroomVroomVroom will reveal in this article. Not many people know that learning a bit of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) can help them find the cheapest and most reliable rental cars. Read more below to find out how it's done.
This is actually an important technique. You'll need to have some understanding in place about SEO and keywords. While keywords are basically what you type into an engine like Google, SEO on the other hand, is defined as the simple activity of making sure a website gets found in search engines for words and phrases best suited to what the site is offering.
By understanding what you need to know and properly learning yourself in a subject like SEO and keywords, this can be very valuable especially if you want to save time and money when in search of a better car hire deal.
Of course, you need to keep in mind too that researching and using the right keywords for SEO can be a little tricky and difficult - to say the least because it will require you to identify which proper keywords that may work better for your car search than others.
But to better help you decide in finding the best rental car deals, we will focus on Google Trends to discover and compare which keywords between “car hire” or “car rental” people are typing for in the search engine.
Take note that this comparison report looked at the Interest over time feature of the two keywords. See the figure below:
Interest over time
Legend: Car Rental Car Hire
*The graph shows the total number of searches done on Google over time, which runs from January 2004 through May 2016.
By comparing the data, it's obvious that most people type for "car hire" than "car rental" when looking for a good car rental deal. According to Google Trends, the term "car hire" has an average total of 74 searches, while "car rental” tallies an average of 55 searches since 2004,
Over the years, "car hire" keyword has maintained its popularity over "car rental" in Australia alone. People typing for "car rental" keyword started strong but as the years progress, its popularity started to decrease as evident to a blue line trending downward that you see in the graph. However, it's interesting to point out that "car rental" has eclipsed the term "car hire" in December 2009 as shown in the graph above.
As seen from this example, we can conclude that by using the proper keyword, which is "car hire", people who are now searching to find the cheapest and most reliable rental cars all across Australia
can pretty much expect to get the best deals. And did we forget to mention that tracking down a great deal on car rental will be much faster and easier? Yes, that's a given!
