Devil’s Lair lies to the south of Margaret River and forms a part of the above-mentioned Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park. It is a single-chamber cave, with a size of 200 square metres and holds particular historical and cultural importance. The site includes archaeological evidence for the oldest human occupation within Australia. Most of the items found were animal bones, hearths, human skeletons and stone artefacts.

Mammoth Cave has a history that dates back 35,000 years. It is a popular limestone cave close to the town of Margaret River. Early European settlers came across the cave in 1850 and had fully explored it by 1895.

Prevelly Park can be reached via Wallcliffe Road. The site is popular with surfers thanks to its superb waves. The Margaret River Pro is a famous surfing competition that is held annually by Prevelly Park. Other popular activities in the area include canoeing, swimming and wind surfing.
