Driving is one of the most excellent ways to experience Australia, which is popularly known for  their wide-open spaces and wonderful sceneries. If you crave road experiences in Sydney, here are our top five most enjoyable scenic drives for you to explore.

Around 50 minutes drive from Sydney, the Blue Mountains consists of a profusion of eucalypt-rich bushland, waterfalls, rainforests, rock formations, wildlife and more. Seeing it covers an amazing pace of more than 1,000,000 ha, no wonder that the Greater Blue Mountains Area is abundant in natural assets. A lot of different features also exist such as rainforests and waterfalls, canyons and wildlife and bird life.

Sydney to Brisbane

Popularly known as the Legendary Pacific Coast, the Sydney to Brisbane road trip is one of Australian's best road trips not to be missed. Drawing 900 kms along the Pacific Coast corridor, this drive certainly has something for all  everyone - from exquisite beaches to green rolling hills to the hinterland, smaller beachside towns, riverside towns, wineries, wildlife viewing, and every type of water sport imaginable - name it!

Sydney to Orange

Situated about 26 km west of Sydney, Orange is another hot destinations perfect for your next short break. Around three and a half hours drive from Sydney and just three hours from Canberra, the Orange Region offers you with a playground in which to uncover tremendous natural attractions, immerse yourself in nature, culture and history,  or just relax and unwind. Make sure to try and taste the town's mouth-watering  food and wine, so bring your appetite and quench your thirst.

Sydney to Jervis Bay

Boarded by beautiful white-sand beaches, the driving distance from Sydney to Jervis Bay is 197 km (2.5-3 hours drive). You can stop for awhile at the Royal National Park (which is the deemed as the second oldest National Park in the world behind only Yellowstone), pull in at the Grand Pacific Drive, which takes you along the coast towards Wollongong and over the famous Sea Cliff Bridge, before continuing on to Jervis Bay.

Sydney to Woy Woy

Located 8 km south of Gosford and 85 km north of Sydney via the Newcastle Freeway, Woy Woy is a holiday and retirement centre which gives a relaxed, in spite of its somewhat crowded population. Around one and a half hours drive from Sydney Airport, Woy Woy is surrounded by by beaches, marinas and the Brisbane Water National Park --- that's why it's easy to see why there's a lot of things to visit and do, whether you prefer the open ocean or green reserves.
