History of HERTZ Australia

When most people hear the word Hertz, they will often assume a large rental car company with a host of operations around the globe. As the company would start out, with Walter Jacobs renting, various Model T’s in Chicago in 1918. This would spark a revolution in the car rental business, with a host of companies seeking to capitalize upon this success. At which point, Hertz would continue to innovate and expand, into a variety of markets. In the case of Australia, this expansion would take place in 2002, as the company wanted to take advantage of increasing demand from: business and leisure travelers.

Since that time, the company would increase its reach throughout the commonwealth, with over 200 locations. Where, they would offer a number of different services that would allow travelers, to see the unique side of what the country has to offer. As Hertz, would begin to provide customers, with a number of different solutions to include: the Hertz #1 Gold Club, refueling options, driver assistant services, cellular phone rentals, one way rentals and a wide variety of vehicles to chose from. When you put these different elements together, they provide travelers going to Australia, with a number of choices for their travel needs. This helps them, be able to have a more unique experience, when visiting the commonwealth and the various places that can be seen by automobile.

Vehicles

There are a wide variety of vehicles that Hertz Australia will offer to consumers to include: the green collection (Toyota Prius Hybrid / Toyota Camry Hybrid), the fun collection (Mini Cooper Cabro / Mini Cooper S), the prestige collection (Lexus IS250 / Mercedes C200K), cars (Toyota Corolla / Toyota Camry), wagons (the Toyota Kluger), SUVs (Toyota Rav 4 / Ford Territory) and trucks (Hino Ranger / Isuzu Van). The large choice of vehicles is designed to meet all of the different needs of travelers to the commonwealth. As they will address the various views and activities that someone could be participating in.

Clearly, Hertz is a major player in the Australian rental car market. While they have not been in the country for a long time, the fact that they offer a number of choices and vehicles is a testament, to their commitment of addressing the needs of various travelers.
