They have three challenging activities such as rock climbing, abseiling, and caving with dorm style accommodation in the area of the majestic Margaret River where you’ll definitely have an experience that you will never forget!
Margaret River Discovery is a two and a half day adventure program that will allow the participants to enjoy the tranquility of a bush camp, away from the bustling city life.
Day one: the heart pumping adventure will start off with abseiling and rock climbing at Wilyabrup Sea Cliffs that overlook the vast and beautiful Southern Ocean. And during the day, you will get the chance to tackle the art of rock climbing! Mind you, rick climbing is a lot harder than it looks so start exercising and build up those leg muscles!
Day two: after the heart stopping experience in day one, you’ll be in awed by the underground treasures of the Leeuwin Naturalist Ridge in day two of your adventure! The caves are considered the region’s hidden and precious treasures! After seeing the marvelous caves, you’ll head to the Boranup forest and explore the labyrinth of tunnels and chambers with impressive stalactites and stalagmites formations. And the climax of the day is your chance to access the cave by rope in a 35-meter overhang!
2. The Murray River White Water Rafting AdventureAfter an in-depth safety and paddling brief and some practice as a team, the Rapids will be just a few millimeters of your reach! The experienced guides are ready to take you and your family to a day full of excitement in the rapids of the Murray River! And the catering for the day is taken care of —including a delicious lunch on the charming river bank!
3. The One Day Abseiling AdventureAbseiling or rappelling is the controlled descent down a rock face using a rope; climbers use this technique when a cliff or slope is too steep and/or dangerous to descend without protection. (wikipedia)
Ever wanted to try abseiling but lack the confidence to do it? Well, well, well, there’s no excuse in availing this marvelous one day package! Come on! Get out of that shell and try to experience the thrills while focusing on developing good technique, personal confidence, and extremely having fun!
The day starts with an introduction to the instructors and a general safety briefing. An overview of the equipment used during the program is provided and next up is the fitting of personal gear. Next is the demonstration on abseiling technique and further specific safety points. Expect a high instructor participation ratio (1:8) ensuring the safety and quality of your experience throughout the day. You’ll also be closely supervised through a mock descent where you’ll learn about attaching and disconnecting from the rope, safety calls, and back-up braking procedure. And at last! It’s off to the nursery slope for your first abseil experience!
As your skills and confidence develop, you’ll move on to more vertical and higher rock faces. And for those looking for more challenge, they can attempt the excitement of forward run downs —abseiling face first down the cliff!
What else is missing in Welshpool that will make your heart race?! NONE! So strap on those shoes for adventure and head off to Welshpool!
Cheers!
