Grandpa's Guide to Driving in Exmouth

Hey there! Have you been thinking of having a vacation with a little touch of adventure? A vacation that you will tell everyone about and have everyone talking about it, say, for the next months? Well, Grandpa Ben is here to bring you what you have on your mind right now. Oh yes, I will be taking you to Exmouth

Ever heard of it? No? You see, sometime in the early 1960’s, Exmouth was established to support the United States Naval Communication Station, Harold E. Holt. This town is actually situated on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia so it is very ideal for a naval base. But what this town actually boasts is its natural wonders (on land and underwater) that will leave you breathless.

Hold on! Are you leaving already? Oh,no. Not just yet. You need to make sure you have everything you need to have your perfect vacation. Let us see. You have you camera ready, you have yourself...oh, wait a minute, and you still don’t have a perfect car rental. You will need a problem-and-hassle-free car and I have exactly what you need. Visit Exmouth Car Rental so that we will all be set for this wonderful adventure.

The places I'd love you to visit are:

1. Cape Range National Park

Are you in the mood for some spelunking? Then this is the place for you.
Cape Range is actually a result of the gradual uplifting from the sea floor which was followed by fluctuating sea levels, wind and water erosion that have slowly eroded the range and plain leaving behind a range of rugged limestone, deep canyons and breathe taking beaches.
Yardie Creek is located in Cape Range. It is a gorge where the water is trapped by a sandbar and it has more than 700 caves and still a lot more to be discovered.
Hmmm...that smells like adventure to me. You may be one who finds a new cave.

2. Ningaloo Reef

Get ready to be dumb struck by the awesome beauty of the underwater world. Oh yes! This reef is not like any other reef. It is very close to the shore so you don’t have to wait for a very long time to take your dive. The reef is 260 km long and it is Australia’s largest fringing reef. And once underwater you will swimming with whale sharks, dolphins, dugongs, manta rays, humpback whales, loggerhead, green and hawksbill turtles.

3. Exmouth Gulf

You want to see more of the underwater world? Then Exmouth Gulf will show you more of it.  It lies between North West Cape and the main coastline of Australia
You will be swimming with Marlins, Spanish mackerel and a lot of species of tuna. Now you get to see them swimming in the water and not on your plate.

Now wasn’t that fun? Oh ‘fun’ is such an understatement. It is an adventure! An adventure that will make everyone you know go green with envy. Don’t forget to take a picture and tell me all about you exciting trip.

Cheers!

-Grandpa Ben
