1. Bunbury Historical Society's King Cottage Museum

Want to be transported back in time? Say, 1880s to the 1920s? Then, you have to see this place. King Henry had it built around 1880. He and his family owned it for more than 4 decades. It was sold to the Carlson family in 1923. The Carlson family owned it for more than 4 decades as well then it was bought by the City of Bunbuury. It was then leased to the Bunbury Historical Society.
The rooms and the furniture are well preserved and taken care of that once you enter one of the rooms it seems like King Henry himself is walking past you. Freaky, huh? But to see how they lived in those times is just simple as opening a door to one of the rooms here and sit on the very same chair King Henry himself sat on. Now that is some freaky experience!

2. Lord Forrest

Now let us meet Sir John Forrest, the famed Aussie explorer and the first premier of Western Australia. We don’t want to meet him in flesh because he will be ridiculously old by now. So we shall meet his statue, dedicated to him by the people of Bunbury
You can marvel at this man (thank him, maybe) and just take a picture a picture of the national park where his statue is erected.

3. Mojo’s

Learning history can be very fun and exciting but it can also make you hungry and thirsty. So why not take time to sit and enjoy a sumptuous meal? Their service is the best and so is the menu. It will not only tantalise your taste buds but your minds as well. Can’t imagine what I’m taking about? Then, it’s time for you to visit this place.

Wow! These are just few of the places that you can visit here in Bunbury. More surprises await you. So stop dilly dallying and bring that camera with so that you can show Grandpa Ben where you’ve been to.

Cheers!

-Grandpa Ben
