Grandpa’s Guide to Driving Caroline Springs
Good Morning my friends! I had an incredible day. And because I had an incredible day, I would like to share with you my incredible experience in Caroline Springs.
Caroline Springs is a suburb 25 kilometers west from Melbourne’s central business district on Kororoit Creek. It has a population of about 10,880 and its Local Government Area is the Shire of Melton.
In Caroline Springs' northern area, you’ll see a town square (which is commonly known as the CS Square) which includes a shopping centre and a man-made lake known as Lake Caroline.
And who would have thought that a suburb has a $40 million dollar 5 start hotel?! Yep. The hotel is owned by the Mercure Hotels Group and it was opened last August 2009. And another hotel and entertainment complex, the WestWaters, has opened last year.
Aside from its high-class hotels, Caroline Springs has places that one should not miss. Some of these places are:
1. The Kororoit CreekThe Kororoit Creek is a major waterway of more than 80 kilometers in length that stretches in the northwest and western parts of Melbourne. In the south, it passes over the volcanic lava plain of western Melbourne from 300 meters to its mouth at sea level near Altona.
The Creek is home to many animal species such as the Growling Grass Frog and the Striped Legless Lizard. There are also internationally recognized migratory birds that can be seen in the area. There are also remnants of native vegetation such as the Red River Gum and White Mangroves.
2. The CoCoChine RestaurantThe CoCoChine Restaurant is located in Shop21 Caroline Springs, Shopping Square, Lake Street, Caroline Springs, Victoria, Australia.
It’s China! It’s Malaysia! It’s Japan! It’s Thailand and Vietnam! Welcome to CoCOChine!
CoCoChine boasts Asian cuisines with a touch of Australia!
And here’s what: you can enjoy their delicious food while looking at the beautiful Lake view!
3. The Fango CaféThe Fango Café is another of the many excellent cafes in Caroline Springs. They have very good coffee and cakes in the menu. They also have waiters and waitresses that are very accommodating and pleasant to both adults and children.
And if you plan to visit Caroline Springs, there’s nothing better than to have your own car for the trip. If you need a car, then visit Caroline Springs Car Rental and book a car within a minute! You can easily choose from the list of cars and their rental rates (and the rental rates are really affordable!). And after a few clicks, be ready to enjoy an amazing experience in Caroline Springs!
