1. Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary
The activity at the top of our list is to visit the “Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary” which the world’s first and largest Koala sanctuary. It is located in the Brisbane suburb of Fig Tree Pocket in Queensland, Australia. You can find Koalas, Kangaroos, Tasmanian Devils, Wombats, Echidnas, various species of Reptiles, as well as a Platypus, and many colorful Australian birds.
The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is one of the very few sanctuaries in the world which allow visitors to hold the koalas for free but, follows the strict regulation that the koalas should not be held for more than 30 minutes every day. This place can be really exciting for children. The travel to the sanctuary from the city is approximately 20 minutes.

4. South Bank Parklands

South Bank and its parklands are one of Brisbane's most important cultural precincts and they regularly host large scale festivals and events. Approximately 11,000,000 people visit South Bank Parklands each year which simply shows that being in SBP is truly fantastic.
5. CityCat Ferry
The “CityCat Ferry”. You can catch a CityCat and cruise along the Brisbane River and get off wherever you feel like getting off. The cruise stops at places like Southbank, Brisbane City, Riverside Centre and the Newfarm park which are all wonderful places to see around the city. This is one of the great ways to see the city while enjoying a relaxing cruise.
