The zoo and aquarium contains a wild variety of both native and exotic animals and it also has the largest inland saltwater tank in Australia. 5. Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex

Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex is a ground station that is located in Tidbinbilla at the Paddys River valley and is about half an hour's drive out of Canberra. The complex is part of the Deep Space Network run by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and is one of just three in the world.

At the center of the complex, you will see a Moon rock that weighs 142 grams and is the largest piece of Moon rock outside the United States. Also in CDSCC, flight paths of manned missions and satellites can be tracked. Models and some very interesting film and photographic records of various space missions can be seen in the visitor center.
