Adelaide lights up with culture & Fun in late February with one of Australia premier cultural festivals. The Adelaide Fringe began out of the need to showcase smaller and unheard of ‘fringe’ acts and arts who weren’t accessible to the Adelaide public in the Adelaide Festival. Over the next 50years the festival has grown to include acts & artists in all genres from all over the world

A combination of new talent and old masters makes this festival very important in nurturing the arts in Australia. Allowing new artists to have a forum for new work that is supported by the community has also aided to the growth of the Festival. From Dance to Poetry, Comedy to Song and Art Instillations to Puppetry all facets of the arts community are represented here from all over the globe.
With the support of established artists and the South Australian Government the festival celebrated its 50th birthday with street parades, fireworks and parties for all.
