Hunter Valley
The Hunter Valley: feast your senses

There’s so much to do in the Hunter Valley and surrounding region, whether you’re restricted to a budget or are able to do it in style.
First and foremost is the wine and vineyards you can visit (even if you’re driving and not able to taste- test, the landscape is magnificent). There are tonnes of tours and different trips to take, and the drive is the best part because the views on the way there are just as good as the wine!
Aside from the obvious wine tasting and vineyard tour options, there is also a fantastic array of fine food to try. From small time cafes, to the finest of the fine, the Hunter Valley doesn’t get its reputation of being culturally elite for nothing.
If you’re there for the elite side of things, have a think about a hot air balloon ride over the surrounding areas, it will take your breath away. Some tours even offer a champagne breakfast, post- ride.
There are a few beauty spas in the vicinity, using local and natural products to pamper and delight. It’s a good thing they’re around, you’ll probably need to detox after all that wine anyway!
It's all too delicious, book a NSW rental car and get to the Hunter Valley now!

On the less extravagant side of things, you can have a lovely afternoon stroll window shopping in antique stores in the Valley, and laze around coffee shops delight. The surrounding landscape is perfect for a cruisey drive and a bit of exploration.

Golf lovers will find a game or two if they fancy it. Peppers Convent or The Vintage Golf Club are some decadent options, or you can just relax with a tour of the critically acclaimed Hunter Valley Gardens. The parkland is beautiful and it’s features are both quirky and fun for all. Their chilli garden near the front entrance is cute, but don’t fall in! Ouch.
The Hunter Valley obviously isn't located near a city centre and you will need to make your own way there. Make it easier for yourself by booking a car rental, so you can experience the valley drive in your own time.
