Australia Zoo - Home of the Crocodile Hunter lies in Beerwah. It is an award winning and very popular zoo owned by Terri Irwin, the widow of the Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin. The zoo was first founded by Steve Irwin's parents on 3 June 1970, then named the Beerwah Reptile Park. Steve and Terri's popular documentary series “The Crocodile Hunter” brought more prosperity to the zoo and made it what it is today. Australia Zoo homes wide variety of birds, mammals, plants and reptiles and allows its visitors to pet and feed some animals as well as see live crocodile feedings.

Bicentennial National Trail (BNT) formerly the National Horse Trail is the world’s longest marked walk track that stretches 5,300 kilometres from Cooktown to Healesville. The trail features bush lands, wilderness and mountain areas suitable for bike riders, horse riders and walkers.

Big Pineapple is in Woombye, Sunshine Coast. The site is a popular tourist attraction and working farm that features the 16 metre tall Big Pineapple, an animal farm, a former Macadamia Nut factory and two fun rides namely: the Big Pineapple Nutmobile Ride and the Big Pineapple Train that gives visitors a tour of the whole plantation.

Coolum Beach is a popular beach town within Sunshine Coast. The area’s name means “headless” and was derived from Mount Coolum, which has no peak. Coolum Beach has beautiful parks, esplanade shops and great waves making it ideal for leisure walking, relaxing, surfing and swimming.
